Finalists: Spectator Economic Disruptor of the Year Awards 2018

We are thrilled to announce that we are finalists in the Economic Disruptor of the Year Awards 2018!

Our submission described how we untangled disparate digital record systems to provide one simple, shared care record exemplified by Core End of Life; how Core Appointments appointments, used by NHS 111 slices through the cumbersome hurdles patients must navigate to see an appropriate clinician, enabling call handlers to send them straight to the right provider. How we rewrote the rulebook on patient records as the first UK healthcare company to adopt the public cloud and a standardised system for exchanging health data – HL7 FHIR, now the international standard.

And all this delivered by a team of dedicated health-tech professionals, directed by a former GP arriving with the right technology and some big ideas that have succeeded at a fraction of the cost.
