Black Pear Software Ltd Obtains GPSoC Full Roll-Out Approval for Shared Care Plans on TPP SystmOne
Monday 21st May 2018
Black Pear has obtained Full Roll-Out Approval (FRA) for our Electronic Shared Plan (eSP) platform on SystmOne from NHS Digital and TPP under the GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) National IT programme.
The FRA status approves Black Pear’s integration with the SystmOne clinical system, which is widely used by GPs, urgent care providers and community providers to deliver healthcare throughout England.
The integration means that health care providers using SystmOne can now quickly create a patient care plan in eSP using patient data from the SystmOne health care record and share that care plan more widely across other 3rd party providers who use different clinical systems. The integration allows 3rd party providers to work with the care plans, make updates as a result of continuing patient care, and present those updates back to health care professionals who use SystmOne. The updates can be accepted back into the SystmOne patient record as either SystmOne structured clinical data and/or PDF posts. As a result, care information managed by eSP can now be synchronised and updated from different NHS providers who use different clinical systems with the SystmOne patient record.
The Black Pear eSP platform is already integrated across many of the leading clinical systems used throughout the UK including those used by NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours providers. The FRA status for eSP now enables all clinicians that care for the patient to use the same integrated record. This improves the quality and safety of care by facilitating communication and coordination between health professionals and informing best clinical practice. The resulting integrated record can either be pushed directly into other clinical systems by eSP or viewed via Black Pear’s own web-based care plan applications.
